To add and set up an email address using IDN (Internationalized Domain Names), the procedure is the same as for setting up a standard POP/IMAP email account on an email client/application (Outlook, Thunderbird, Apple Mail, etc.).
However, you must use your domain name translated into punycode (i.e. in the internationalized domain name format xn--) in order to add your email account and connect your email address with IDN. You can use our IDN/Punycode Conversion tool to do so.
With some email clients, it's sometimes possible to use your email address in Unicode or IDN format using extensions (or plug-ins). For example, the i-NavOutlook and i-NavOE extensions are upgrades for Outlook users that allow you to send and receive emails with international domain names. You can search for and install plug-ins or add-ins for Outlook in the Microsoft Office App Store.
